contact: Damarak@aol.com Damara Kaminecki dwells in a tiny apartment where she sleeps atop her flatfiles and carves linoleum deep into the night. Originally hailing from Chicago, she graduated from Pratt Institute in 2004 with a BFA in Drawing. Damara can be found in Brooklyn riding her bicycle, working freelance as an illustrator, an artist assistant, and on her own portfolio. Her work is made from linoleum cuts; the fine art work is made of many prints on colored papers, collaged together. The illustrations are prints scanned into photoshop where the color is added. |
